Outings

We aim to run a number of varied and interesting outings each year to local and regional venues. We ask for payment at the time of booking and there is a table set up for outings at the meeting for this purpose. If you are booked on an outing but find you are unable to go you will usually be credited with monies we have not had to pay out in advance. There are several local pick up points and times may differ.

Information is available in the programme or at the meetings, or you can contact our Outings team:

There are generally five pick up points – Upper Beeding, the top of Goring Road, Clock Tower, Tanyard Lane and Dingemans (all in Steyning). and members are expected to get themselves to one of these points.

Meals are sometimes included in the price of the outing, but if you wish to take your own lunch that is often possible. There will always be at least one member of the Committee on each outing for your safety and to deal with any problems.
