We run 12 outings a year, at or below cost – we often get a good deal because we are a group. We ask for payment at time of booking. There is a table at the meeting for this purpose. If you are unable to go on the outing you will usually be be credited with monies we have not had to pay out in advance. At present we are working with Worthing Coaches to provide most of the transport. They run “Village Route” excursions in a 55 seater coach (with onboard toilet) during the summer months and Vintage Years will share these outings – indeed we helped to choose them! When we share an outing with the “Village Route” there will only be 3 pick-up places: Upper Beeding, the top of Goring Road, and the Clock Tower. Members are expected to get themselves to one of these points.

Meals may be included in the price of the Outing, but if you wish to take your own lunch that is often possible. Members are expected to be responsible for themselves on Outings and to listen to instructions on what times to return to the Coach etc., so that we are all free to go around separately from the group if we wish.

(If we run an independent outing , particularly during the winter there are 5 possible pick up points for the Outings, Upper Beeding, the top of Goring Road, the Clock Tower, Tanyard Lane and Dingemans. As before  members are expected to get themselves to one of these points – transport is not usually provided by the club.)
