About Vintage Years

The Club has been running since 2013 and has gone from strength to strength with increasing numbers.

The aim of Vintage Years is to provide a welcoming environment where people aged 60 and over living in Steyning, Bramber or Upper Beeding  can meet and make friends. The ‘entertainment’ at meetings is wide-ranging and designed to cater for all tastes – with the emphasis always on enjoyment. Refreshments (hot and cold) and biscuits are provided at every meeting. For special events we have cream teas, cakes and sherry/wine. Regular outings are also arranged.

The club does not have charitable status, it is a not-for-profit organisation and none of the committee (other than the Operations Manager) are paid staff. We have a constitution, a committee with member representation, and of course, provide audited accounts annually. Our AGM is held yearly at the March Meeting and the club is fully insured.

Vintage Years is a totally independent club. We are funded and supported through our subscriptions, with grants from Steyning Parish Council and Wilson Memorial Trust. We thank them for their continued support.

I have belonged to Vintage Years for about 3 years. It is nice to see people of your own generation on a regular basis and of course to make new friends. We have films, talks, cream teas and the Outings which I thoroughly enjoy. We always like meeting new members and making them welcome.
